2016 Baja RallyMy first 4-Wheel race. The 2016 Baja Rally was a 4-day off-road navigation Rally Raid event held in northern Baja California for motorcycles and UTVs. I was the navigator for the RMJ RallyMotoSport-Galactic Racing team. We were fast and competitive throughout the race.
We won 1st Place in the UTV Class |
2015 Mexican 1000The 2015 NORRA Mexican 1000 was a 5-day navigational rally race from Ensenada to San Jose del Cabo.
I raced the Husaberg Rally bike to mostly consistent 2nd places in the +50 class for the racing stages (including a 3rd overall in one stage); however a mechanical problem in the final days kept me from a podium finish. |
2014 Mexican 1000The 5-day 2014 NORRA Mexican 1000 was full of ups and downs. Despite a front flat tire, I won the stages for the +50 class for the first two days of the event, and had a comfortable lead going into Day 3. Although I experienced another front flat in the middle of the Day 3 stage, I was still leading the +50 class when I took a terrible crash just a few miles from the end of the day. I ended up getting my collar-bone plated in La Paz to finish up my race.

2013 Mexican 500The 3 day NORRA Mexican 500 was a navigational rally in Northern Baja, and my 2nd race since starting to race again.
After a very tough Day 1, taking the large Rally bike through a very technical course, I won a stage overall on Day 2. On Day 3, I would experience a flat rear tire and a broken front rim; however I finished the race in 1st place for the +50 Class and 3rd overall. |
2013 Mexican 1000My first race since starting to ride again in 2006 (after a 25-year hiatus from riding). The 2013 Mexican 1000 was a 4 day navigational rally race down the entire Baja peninsula. Mechanical problems plagued me from the start, and I ended up finishing the race on my backup bike.
I persevered and finished, and had a great time. More racing to come... |
