2023 Husqvarna Norden 901
I loved my 2020 Moto Guzzi V85TT for street and dirt fire roads, but I missed having a true adventure bike for Baja and and other more rugged backcountry offroad rides. This led me to trading in the Moto Guzzi and buying a 2023 Husqvarna Norden 901.
The Norden 901 is a rugged yet refined machine designed for both on-road touring and off-road exploration. It's related to KTM's well-regarded 890 Adventure, providing increased versatility and improved comfort.
The Norden provides a 889cc parallel-twin engine that delivers a smooth and responsive throttle response, whether carving through mountain twisty roads or tackling tough offroad trails. The Norden supports multiple riding modes (Street, Rain, Offroad and a customizable Explorer mode) that provide tuned power delivery and traction control based on both the terrain and riding conditions. The bike strikes a perfect balance between on-road stability and off-road capability with its low center of gravity and balanced chassis.
I upgraded the suspension and added performance and other modifications to make this to be what I consider to be the perfect adventure bike. The Norden provides the balance, versatility, and strength to handle a variety of terrains with confidence and ease. It's ready to push the limits when exploring beyond the beaten path.
